In November 1960, Robert Miller and Charles Feeney established the first Duty Free Shopping location in Hong Kong. With the retailer’s long legacy of heavyweight artistic collaborators – Andy Warhol being one them, World of DFS was always going to be a tad more artistically and editorially accomplished than the average company newsletter. We wrote and edited two issues: sourced stories, interviewed the bigwigs and the small people and saw the paper through to print. Twelve countries, seven languages — with all these fantastic features, interviews, essays and images. Enough said.
